Native American Film Festival

The Annual Native American Indian Film & Video festival of the southeast shines a spotlight on Native American Indian and Alaskan Native cultures and the many different indigenous cultures from throughout the world and promotes the emerging voices of many independent film makers. We welcome films of all genres. The festival also features exciting “Film Talks, ” receptions, performances and workshops which are open to all.

This is one of the projects of the non-profit (501) (C) (3) Tax exempt, The Eastern Cherokee, Southern Iroquois and United Tribes of South Carolina, Inc. (ECSIUT)’s major projects include: the SC statewide observance of National Native American Indian Heritage Month, The South Carolina Native American Indian Heritage Tourism Project, the Native Talent, Inc.; SC American Indian Writers Project; the SC Native American Traditional Arts Project, and the Annual Native American Indian Film and Video Festival of he SE (14 years).

Eastern Cherokee, Southern Iroquois & United Tribes of SC, aka “Cherokee Indian Tribe of South Carolina, Inc.-ECSIUT” is “State Recognized” under the SC Code Section 1-31-40 (A) (7)(10), Statutory Authority Chapter 139 (100-111). ECSIUT is a 501(c) (3) Tax-exempt Charitable tribal organization. ECSIUT is organized to preserve, present, protect and document Cherokee history and other Native American Indian tribe’s cultures and individuals, material culture, arts, historic buildings and folkways in SC.
